with love from central america...

...post cards **from** Baby Girl! oh, how these warmed my heart...she has a room with a view...new pathways to tread (rainforest in Tirimbina)...funky new friends (anyone know this fella??)...some colorful ones (finally, a poison dart frog)...& a few "awkward" ones too (sloth striking a pose!)...the world really is her classroom...right now she is staying on a coffee plantation (i know...i hear your sighs!) & she knows *exactly* what to bring home as a souvenier!

I'm so glad I saw this now. I've been feeling a bit down and the postcards from central america perked me right up. I especially like the poison dart frog. I've see them all blue but never red and blue. Beautiful creatures.

What a marvelous opportunity for her. I hope you'll be able to visit her while she is there? Wonderful photos. I love the hammock.

Thank you so much for your prayers. They mean more than I can express here. May God bless you and bless you, over and over!

Whew, she's well and good. :) And it looks like she is having a grand adventure.

I have a friend who studied Spanish in college and Costa Rica was her summer home one year while she practiced. She went back last year with her family and she LOVES it there.

Just add it to the "short list." Which is getting longer every year... ;)

What a diverse and beautiful planet this is. I adore sloths - something so endearing about them.

christine...she is in costa rica & i am not sure if we will be able to visit. she has a very short break but may be heading to panama with her cohorts. other times she is in the field with a very sporadic schedule, so no visits!

renae...y'all are in my heart. & this week's news is so joyful!!

andrea...& me too!

jennifer...yes, my once-short 'go-to' list is now quite long & will take the rest of my life to do!

britt-arnhild...she is an undergrad biology major doing field research for this semester in costa rica, on a coffee plantation, in the rainforest & occasionally in nicaragua.

sally...my daughter & i just love those crazy beasts!!!!...which makes that photo all the more endearing.

nazzareno...voglio di andare in costa rica!
