isn't it heavenly
to live so close to the water
these last days of summer...

:-)

we saw some tiger~striped
baby rays yesterday
swimming in formation
in a little herd...

they melt my heart when they do that.

It's wonderful how close you live to nature, and how connected you are to the natural world. The photos are a a treat.

A baby sting ray!
Our aquarium has little rays and sharks in a shallow pool that you can touch lightly and that is always a favorite place for our kids to visit. They are so beautiful - and a bit scary. :)

Mmmm... I wish I was having dinner at your house this weekend.

Wow! you just reach right in and there's dinner.
The baby stingray is cool - glad he's back in the bay watching the tide roll away ;)
